Terms of use

These terms cover the Buckery website and the app. They are not financial advice.

Last updated: 21 October 2026.

Who we are

These terms are between you and Ingenium Software Engineering Limited. Registered office: Belmont Suite, Paragon Business Park Chorley New Road, Horwich, Bolton, England, BL6 6HG. Company number: 13334667. They cover the Buckery website and the app.

The plans

  • Free. No charge.
  • Plus. £3.49 a month, or £24.99 a year. A 7-day free trial applies to both the monthly and the yearly price.
  • Lifetime. £49.99 once. It includes Plus and does not renew.

Prices are in pounds sterling. Our VAT number is GB381204227.

Billing, renewal, and cancellation

We do not take payment yet. When we do, Stripe will take it. We will not store your full card number.

Plus monthly renews each month at £3.49 until you cancel. Plus yearly renews each year at £24.99 until you cancel. A 7-day free trial applies to both the monthly and the yearly price. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the price for the plan you chose is charged. Lifetime is a single payment and does not renew.

Cancel before the renewal date to stop the next charge. Until a cancel control is on the account screen, ask us through the contact form. Cancelling a plan does not delete the account. Deletion is on the data deletion page.

Your 14-day cooling-off right

If you are a consumer in the UK, you can cancel a distance contract within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The 14 days start the day after you subscribe or buy.

Plus is a digital service. If you ask us to start it during those 14 days, you can still cancel. You pay a proportionate amount for the days you have used.

When paid plans launch, checkout will ask you to agree that the service starts straight away and that you lose your right to cancel once you start using it. Until then, we will not treat that right as lost.

Not financial advice

Buckery is a calculator, not advice. It shows what could happen under scenarios you choose, using the figures you enter. It doesn't know your full situation and doesn't tell you what to do. Buckery isn't authorised by the FCA to give debt advice. For free, impartial debt advice, contact MoneyHelper or StepChange.

A lender can charge differently. Check the statement before you rely on a date. The calculators on this website are the same kind of picture.

Demo and preview

The public demo is a preview. Features may change. Data in the demo may change or be reset. Do not treat the demo as the only copy of your model.

Acceptable use

Use Buckery for your own model of your money. Do not break or probe the service, overload it, or try to open someone else’s account. Do not upload anything unlawful. Do not use a picture in Buckery to mislead someone about their money. We can suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Liability

A forecast can be wrong. We are not liable for a decision you take from a picture in the app, except where the paragraph below says we cannot limit that.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and for your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

Subject to that, our total liability for a claim about the service is limited to what you paid us for Buckery in the 12 months before the claim. If you have not paid, that limit is nothing.

Changes to these terms

We can update these terms. We change the Last updated date when we do. If a change affects a paid plan, we will tell you at the email on the account before it applies. If you keep using Buckery after that date, the new terms apply, except where the law says we need your explicit agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
